Performance mod #2

So today I was finally able to put on my K&N CAI! My plenum should be here tomorrow so that's when I'll be installing that.

I have the cold air intake, throttle body and spacer, and a full exhaust. All those parts are great but the tuner brought them all together. The hp and torque gains are unbelievable. I suggest you out the tuner at the top of your purchase list lol.

Are there any major differences in the tuners? Or are they all the same thing pretty much?

I ordered my tuner through american muscle. The free tunes for life from Bamaperformance is what sold me to be honest. As you continue to upgrade your car they'll send you new tunes for the parts you added.

All the tuners from AM have Bama tunes. They offer sct, diablosport and a couple more I think but can't remember the names. Some hold more tunes than others and some are smaller in size and have color screens and some are not. It all depends on your preferences. I like the i1000 because it's smaller than an iPhone and color screen. I'm not an expert tho, I'd give AM a call and they can give you expert advice.

Diablo sucks , and is limited, and is outdated ,

Get the sct tuner , a lot more people are user friendly to that product for different tunes, dyno tunes.

I personally hate Bama tunes, there's a lot better company's that can email you a Better tune.

How is diablosport outdated? My i1000 is a brand new color touch screen tuner just out on the market and is way better than the sct. That's your opinion bud but not even close to the truth.

If anything is outdated it would be that old large tuner from sct.

The sct is the most outdated tuner there is.

Than why did I just update mine?

They all do the same thing anyways. Just a different screen to do it in

I think Slow was saying that SCT is popular among local tuners. So if you go that route, there my be more potential for custom tuning at a local dynom I know most of the shops around me praise SCT. As for Diablo being out of date, I think its more of being less popular. Not necessarily any better or worse, but its like choosing mustard or ketchup on your burger. (Sorry for the crappy analogy, but its late and I'm tired)
