After removing the drive shaft and cross member very carefully Jack up the front of the engine a little it can give you like an extra inch of clearance and use probably like 3ft of extensions maybe a swivel

Waiting on my dad to swoop me then going back to start round two. Connection of everything and fluids and she should be ready to roll. Only thing connected on her is the trans brace.

Motors in and the car runs good but it won't move anywhere for some reason the clutch is not working

Do you have pressure in the clutch? Did you forget to but the c-clip back on the clutch fork? You sure the clutch is lined up properly? Did you torque it to spec? Will it go into gear?

Clutch has pressure, feels like too much...it snaps back instead of letting out smooth. the c clip is on there. im gonna say its not engaging because it will not move and there is no noise. used the clutch alignment tool to align the clutch and they mated to each other quite easily so im pretty sure the clutch is aligned. it will go into gear normally. flywheel bolts torqued to 80 pressure plate torqued to 20

So you've got pressure, the pedal works, and the car will go into gear, but it Just revs and doesn't go anywhere?

correct...the pressure in the pedal does not feel normal. it kinda snaps back instead of constant smooth pressure all the way back

Sounds like the clutch fork isn't engaging the pressure plate. Try to look where the fork come out of the bellhousing and see if anything looks good. You may have to pull the tranny off again

gonna have to replace the exhaust system then....i installed a crappy one and had a lot of it welded because it was so crappy and had leaks. can the tranny be removed without removing the midpipe? its not long tubes stock headers and a mac prochamber. gonna hate getting to those top trans bolts and connectors...

That sucks. Unfortunately your gonna have to remove the exhaust too. No way around it, unless you pull the engine and tranny out together through the engine bay.
