Hid fog light replacement troubles

I have a 2003 gt with the cobra bumper and just bought (880c 35w 3k) hid kit. Don't have the brand. The bulb won't fit in the fog light housing. The twist lock part on the bulb is to small. If I knew how to put pictures I would. Is there an adapter or something I'm missing.

Shouldn't be,sounds like your socket sizes are much different.

If the socket is too big you can always shave it down

I had the wrong bulb for mine, I just shaved down the fog light housing to the size of the O-ring on the bulb and then siliconed the bulb into place

Lol had this problem on my Mach... Well sorta, the pigtail wouldn't match up. Thank god for easy electrical work. Get the right lights, if the pigtail is different just cut and splice.
