rim size and offset please

2000 mustang GT
need to know the rim size and offset
That looks best on these cars.
Plan to lower the car this summer about 1-1.5"
looking for some what staggerd look
I keep getting told just get wide tires
but wouldn't I want wide rims?
anyways local shop here is no help they just
want the numbers of the sizes and cash lol
they have a set of cobra replicas for 1300
with tires installed but I don't want silver rims.

What wheels are you wanting? Most of the mustang websites should have the ideal back spacing for the wheels they're selling. Yes you should get wider rims (compared to stock) if you want wider tires. How big do you want to go?

I can put up pics of my staggered 17" FR500s if you'd like, but I have no clue what my backspacing is, I bought them off of Latemodel.

Edit: does this help at all? http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...-SN95-New-Edge

It looks like mine are 6" in front and 6.5" in rear.

I kinda like your rims more then the cobra style rims I have been considering... id need darker tho like a black or dark gun metal type look but yeah those look clean. hard to tell in the picture but how far to the backs space out from the fenders?

About a half inch at most. I'll try and find a better picture or I'll take one tomorrow. Anthracite looks pretty good if you want a darker gray.
