Programmer/chip... Which one??

So about 2 months ago i bought an 03 GT with a vortech v2 and it has 25k miles on it.

Last week i took it to a reputable performance shop and they said the previous owner does not have the correct chip/programmer in it.

Can anyone recommend a good chip for my car that works well with a supercharger. Preferably one that does not cost $1000.

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey,

That sounds like an awesome car, definitely post us a picture so we can check it out!

When it comes to programmers, most speed shops and tuning companies are using SCT software. The most popular model would be the SCT SF3, however the SF4 was just released and will be the most popular tuner in the future.

These tuners can control any aspect of the car that is controlled by the computer. These are also incredible user friendly for both the customer and companies writing and installing the tunes. We sell these tuners roughly 10 to 1 compared to any other mustang tuner we offer.

I am confident that your shop has used one of these two options, and either of these will be able to change any parameter you need changed. These are also well below your budget at 379.99.

I hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, feel free to get in touch. Good luck!

-Dan

Just ask the tuning shop you took it to and they will set you on the right path. The tuner who has my car uses sct products. Or you can get a bama tuner deal from AM and they can write a specific tune for it for alot cheaper than a shop. I'm shelling out $950 for my Dyno session and sct handheld. Bama tunes has tunes for life for one set price.
