P1 Procharge Setup

Well guys I know there's so much confusion, but Iam currently saving up for a P1 setup

A buddy is willing to sell me his P1 , with 42lb injectors , BOV, piping, coolant cross over, twin pumps for 3,000.00 is that a fair price ?

And is it wise to buy a used kit ?
He's on 5lb right now, same car as mine.

Also would it be wise to stay 410s if I go Procharged ?

Sorry here bud if I can't really answer your question, but your post caught my attention. Please let me know how you feel your pony with the p1 installed. I'm actually debating right now weather to go charger or turbo, and pro charger is defiantly the one I have in mind if I decide to. Thanx and good luck, soon a wise guy will answer your question.

I would say thats a decent price. Do you know how long he has had it?

And as far as the gears i would personally go with 3.55 or 3.75. I think 4.10s are a little much for a s/c setup.

I think the 4.10s would be perfect for the pro charger. If you had a root style supercharger I could see changing the gears but with the centrifugal style your going to have a little lag with boost.

That's a very fair price. I paid $5000 for my v3 vortech, 80# injectors, twin 340 pumps, return style hat, lines, fuel rails, maf, and intercooler stuff. I'd jump on it if you have the money then have the head unit checked out or make him have it checked first
