EGR

Hi, I have a 2002 GT I just installed some new exhaust with long tube headers. How would I go about plugging off or deleting the EGR.

There's not. It doesn't really do anything It wouldn't come off my old exhaust and we knew it wouldn't line up on the new stuff so we just cut it.

If the longtubes didnt have a pipe to hool the wgr up, then cut a piece of metal to cover the hole on the plenum, and get a tune to turn it off in the ecu.

I deleted my EGR when I put my long tubes on. It really cleans up the engine bay too. I bought a block off plate from UPR (link below). It was a simple install. I just cut the EGR pipe off since I was never going to reuse it.
You will need a tuner to turn off a check
engine light if you do this.
