engine problem?

My gt has recently started to turn off at random times in the past 2 weeks. I would be around 2-3k rpms and suddenly it would just go below 1k, the steering wheel gets hard, and just shuts down.
I had a little accident about 4 weeks ago, nothing major, just went into a trucks' hitch, maybe that influences this?
Any causes??

Any engine codes?

Could be a vacuum leak somewhere,
If not could be a faulty TPS sensor
You can check it for the correct volts.

Or maybe something got into your mass air flow meter , you could clean it out.

Just things like that.. Just troubleshoot different things.

Idle Air Control (IAC) comes to mind..it won't throw a code but has the symptoms...it's about $50 and takes 10min to replace.
