What tune should I buy?

I have a 1998 mustang GT, and in looking for a good tube that will preform the best for my car.. I've researched a little about these tunes and the top 3 are SCT , BAMA , and DIABLO.. What should I go with?

SCT is the handheld itself not a actual " tuner" it comes with canned tunes though. Same with diablo.

The Bama Team can tune for either SCT or Diablosport, they do not make tuners themselves. I think you may be confusing the Bama SF3/X3 or Bama SF4/X4 tuners and a brand, where they're just SCT tuners with Bama's custom face plate.

SCT and Diablosport both make great tuners. Which his why we're able to offer tunes for both! If I were you, I'd pick whichever tuner has features you prefer and fits your budget. Either way, your custom Bama tune loaded to either tuner will be just as effective.

Hit me up if you have any other questions about tuners or our Bama custom tunes. I'd be happy to help!

Shane

Steeda and Bama are the most popular ones, beware canned tunes though and always run a wideband if you start messing with the factory tune. I'd go with AED or learn to tune yourself, I'm starting to learn and its not exactly rocket science.

Throw a bama tube on the dyno and look at the jacked up curve you get and weird dips etc. They are a caned tune not a custom tune. The 19 questions they ask you. They are already loaded on SCT software. A monkey could do it.

Which is why if you have a jacked up AF ratio I doubt they are going to be able to do anything but change one of said "19 questions" in an effort to band aid it. I have a feeling Steeda tunes are the same but not sure since Ford does warranty the Steeda cars they sell. Although I can't remember Ford selling a Steeda from the SN95 years... They may have.
