need opinions

I understand not everyone is a fan of plasti dip. However I recently dipped my pony and my gas cap cover. What do you guys think of doin the spoiler and/rear deck lid panel?

I personally was going to dip my corral, but not the pony, but that actually looks fine. I wouldn't like the deck lid plasti-dipped (but I do like the honeycomb deck lid panel on LateModelRestoration.com/If only American Muscle carried that one with the "GT" cut-out). As far as the spoiler goes, if you know you will like the look of it, I would say save-up and paint it, but if you're just experimenting go for it. If you did plasti-dip it, I wouldn't leave it flat black and add the plasti-dip glossifier.

If/when you do it, you should tell me how much you had to use, 'cause I thought of doing plasti-dip before painting to see if I liked it.

I plastidipped my decklid and the rear valence with no glossifier and it looks good, you dont have to remove the emblems, just cover em up. And be careful when removing the tape to cover other parts of the car, take your time and itll come out great.

And for the spoiler, i saw a red stang with a plastidipped stock spoiler and i thought it looked good.

Mine came with the deck lid panel, emblems, and wing plastidipped. I took it off the emblems, replaced the decklid panel part with vinyl, and left the wing dipped

I used to be really against it until I saw a rim done properly with the plasti clear on top of it. Honestly if the finish of the AFS rims I got does not hold up I may join the club... or just have them powdercoated...

But as far as the OP, I would do the Mach grille delete. I personally think the honeycomb looks like a suitcase full of dicks.

Nice! I've always liked black on blue for muscle cars. Do you still have a silver lip around your rims?
