94-98 headlights

I hate to bring up this topic, seeing as it's been beaten pretty badly, but I'm finding it difficult to find a set of black beauty headlights. AM used to have a set similar, except it had a smoked lens which they stopped carrying Dark Smoked Mustang Headlights (94-98) at AmericanMuscle.com - Discontinued
All the other sets I find of black housing clear lens are one pieces which I don't like or have amber dot markers in them. Anyone have some links to sights with smoked or black housing headlights? I've checked AM, LM, and CJ.

These are the best headlights you can get for a 94-98 and they come like this and in stock looking chrome. Comes with a harness and everything as it uses 9006 and 9005 bulbs vs a single 9007. Also great because you can throw a HID kit int he projectors and not blind everyone on the road since they produce a pretty good HID beam pattern.

Those are nice units, depo makes a great piece. Only drawback is I would like a single halogen or hid capable bulb. I'm not too into projectors.

Why do you want a single bulb? With the DEPO projectors you can run far and away the brightest halogens there are in the 9011/9012 bulbs there is no 9007 that is even close. And if you want to do a HID properly you need a projector anyway which these are.

I just don't like the look of a projector housing on these cars. I know they are much more efficient, but to me they look euro.

Everything is going with projectors now pretty much. I don't like the chrome ring in the black ones which is why I got the full chrome ones. Very subtle and you can always smoke the lenses too to hide them even better.

And honestly if you still don't want to get projectors your two best bulb choices are going to be Osram Silverstars (NOT SYLVANIA) or Philips Xtreme Vision. Those are the two brightest bulbs on the market. Next would be an OEM Philips 9007 bulb.

Those look really nice on your car. I think having only one light source looks nicer. Wouldn't tinting the lens a smoke effect defeat the purpose of a projector? Those look like they fit quite well. How was the installation on that unit? Do you know if depo makes a side marker as well?

It's easy and yes I'm getting their side markers to match.
