New Exhaust

New member, don't flame me if this has been answered before

So guys, just bought SLP Loudmouth 1 resonators and expecting my local shop to install this coming up week. Thing is, if I cut the rear cats out will my check engine light come out by chance? just curious. Eventually I want to O/R XPipe it but just don't have the extra money for that kind of work. The county I live in doesn't do emissions so no cats wouldn't be a problem. Leave cats or no cats? Honest opinion

No cutting the secondary cats off will not throw a CEL.

I know Bucko asked a while ago about suggestions for improvements but I cannot find that post. Accessing garage photos in the mobile app would be great.

I know it's possible, other forums have that feature.
I'll look for the post.

Those are pretty sick! I live near Atlanta and my buddies and I took a trip down to Summit Racing. I do like those new SVT wheels for later models. The showroom had some on display. 5lug pattern but idk if those will fit. Saleen or cobra style are awesome though

Bet that sounds amazing! Awesome bro. Eventually that's what I want to run, but cat deletes and the SLPs will do for now. Will post a vid up once everything is done.

Nice car. Mineral Grey right? One of my 3 favorite NE colors along with Sonic Blue and Competition Orange. For rims the Saleens look better on a 94-98 IMO and also if you get Saleens or Bullitts (you have Bullitts but not aftermarket staggered ones) you'll be like every other Mustang out there.

Although I should talk, I get 03 Termi style rims so I can be different and I get behind a Fox this morning coming into work that has the same damn ones lmao.

To answer your question (that has been already), only removing the upstream cats will throw a CEL and then you can just buy an eliminator harness to fix that problem.

Lol I hear ya! I do like those 03/04 cobra style. I think I might do lowering springs first then wheels/tires. Btw guys set up the appt for my exhaust on Thursday morning! SLPs came in today! Might do a lil video once the install is done. Sold a 1988 Jeep Wagoneer so now I have my project going even more

I did the rear two cat delete on my stock h and didnt throw a CEL and ran it like that for 6 months with no issues. Its going to sound great, the front 2 cats keep it tame when just cruising but when you open it up....wow what a screamer.
