Stripes or no?

I have recently been debating whether or not to remove my two grey stripes on my stang. I was just looking for y'alls opinion about whether or not to keep or remove. They were on the car when I bought it a few months ago so I have no clue how long they have been on there.

I wouldn't remove them until you are ready to repaint, not knowing how long they've been on there.
I think it would look fine if it wasn't on the bumper, so maybe you can experiment with just the bumper, so you won't have two huge discolored strips on your car.

+1... I think they 100% need to go but you don't want your paint lookin all odd and ****ty.

That's what I was thinking. I think it would look clean without them but I can't afford to repaint the car if it was faded badly. Would it even out closely since it's black?
