Welcome!

A 4.6 swap is gonna need a lot of things, I've never done one nor have I really looked into one, but some of the major bits would be: engine, transmission cross member, driveshaft, front k memeber, wire harness, ECU, 8.8 if you want a decent differential, and probably more than that. Usually it's recommended to just sell the sixxer and buy a GT instead due to the amount of money and labor involved in performing a swap like that.

I wish it was that simple. Usually swaps like that are a lot more involved than anybody ever expects and the car quickly becomes a money put with very little resale value to it. I'm glad I could help, but don't just take my advice on it because I am by no means an expert on swaps like that

If you decide to go through all that trouble, just do a mark 8 swap instead

If you want a GT buy a GT unless you can get a donor car for free or near free and do ALL the work yourself. IMHO a more economical swap for a sixer is to go to the 4.2L V6 which can put down some decent numbers.

You need WAY more than the engine/trans...

Just because I give you advice, doesn't mean I know more than you. Its just means I've done more stupid ****.
