One 8mm bolt makes a difference

96 GT. After my Full PI Swap top end rebuild, we lost only one 8mm cam cover bolt. I have been driving without it for 5 months. I always felt like my GT wasn't running to it's full potential.

A couple days ago after I got off the highway I smelled oil. Oh no!! Not my car... I popped the hood and saw the oil all over. I noticed that missing valve cover bolt. I ordered a new bolt from Ford. screwed that little sucker in and drove my GT around for an hour. WOW!! The monster has unleashed!!

Worth every cent and also worth paying for 93 octane due to 10.5:1 compression bump.

I especially posted this thread so hopefully everyone keeps there PCV clean and working also Cam Cover gaskets sealed. A vacuum leak is a vacuum leak. I'm not sure about other years or engines. But now I'm finally running 100%. Even at idle my car pulls like a PitBull on a leash. Hard to keep it at a stand still.
