It's about an average deal.

What year IRS? I would try to talk him down a bit. Are you giving him your SRA? ideally you should do the FTBR bushing kit and a diff brace but it'll handle just fine without those.

I enjoy mine a lot. Hell the look of the exhaust is almost worth it all by itself. The adjustability is nice, I've got my camber in spec and have set the toe exactly where I want it to help with cornering

Sounds like a deal to me. That bushing kit is $700 by itself.

I love having mine. I don't get terrible wheel hop but I don't exactly go around doing burnouts everywhere I go. My car will see maybe 2-3 burnouts a year, but I'll get a little wheel hop on those. I don't have the bushing kit though, I'm still on stock bushings. One thing to remember is thay you're gonna be adding a lot of weight to the back side of the car, it doesn't bother me having it, but other people won't like it.

01=weak halfshafts. I also doubt all of the bushings were done. Probably just diff bushings.

So ask yourself if adding 250# of dead weight is worth it. Not to mention the hassle to do any rear suspension work or even change the fuel filter.

Its not much more weight than a SRA car with a full torque arm/panhard bar setup but yes, there is a lot more **** under there.

The 03/04 unites are the desirable ones and you can get them for $1k but the mileage is low on this unit which makes it something to think about. You won't break a 99/01 unit with a NA PI motor unless you are wheel hopping like crazy. Wheel hop snaps axles faster than anything.

It was right at 300lb on my car. Braced irs to built sra with aftermarket control arms. The irs is a hefty unit...i've dropped a few.

I broke two axles and cracked the diff cover with 500whp. One halfshaft broke at the track on et streets (it hooked). Broke another when it dead hooked shifting to 2nd on the street. Diff cover cracked from wheel hop on the street in 1st. On a similar note I broke 2 spider gears in my built sra a few months back. I'll admit i'm rough on the car.

The rear calipers are the same. Rotors and pads would have to be swapped either way.
