2004 gt

I have a problem with my 04 Ford GT it doesn't go over 4000 RPMs when it's in gear

This is just my OCD kicking in, but *Ford Mustang GT*.... The Ford GT was an actual super car.

Is your Mustang an automatic or manual transmission? What does it feel like when you are at 4,000 rpm? Does it just cut out? Or does it feel like it struggles to go more?

Oh lol sorry ment to wright mustang um the power just stops it's only when it's in gear and it's a manual idk what it is

But yah idk y it stops at 4000 rpms I think it might need a computer reset

So it feels like a loss of power? Not like when you hit 4k rpm it just seems to stop all together?

Maybe a rev limiter but it's only when it's in gear when in neutral it can redline
