First Mustang need advice

I just got a 2000 GT with 142k miles replace serpentine belt sent abs module off for repair changed oil changed power steering fluid looking at spark plugs and coils which do you recommend also if you could do all over where would you start with modsClick image for larger version

congrats on the first mustang ! if you do change plugs and coils make sure you have a torque wrench .There is a sticky post on what to do . as far as a first mod i think you can't go wrong with a catback or short throw shifter if you have a manual.

Wheels and lower it should always be the first things done. Clean the MAF sensor and change the fuel filter as well.

Great advice thanks it seems that after much research a Bama tune is a major contributor to gaining hp and torque

Depends on if you want to go for performance, or looks. Could get any body work done, fresh paint, wheels and tires. For performance, I would just start with a nice exhaust system and then start in on the bolt ons. Maybe go with some 3.73 gears if its a manual, or 4.10 if an auto. The sky is the limit (or rather, your wallet is.)

Autolite 103s are the plugs you want. Mod motors like one range cooler. For the coils, rebuild the stockers with a $30 kit from Amazon or rockauto. If you need new coils because the old ones are totally shot then get them from rockauto and only ever use motorcraft cops.
