HELP!!!! Weird rattling noise when accelerating!

So I am hearing some kind of really strange rattling or clicking noise when I push on the gas. I hear it a little when it's idling but it's worse on the throttle. Anyone have any ideas???

where is the sound coming from?... can you listen around the engine and narrow it down?

if you suspect it to be a coil.. u can unplug one coil at a time and see if the sound goes away

Thinking it MIGHT be a something to do with my transmission cause my Synchronisers are shot so may have caused something else. I plan on swapping it this weekend.

Is the rattle followed by a strong vibration? How does the clutch pedal feel? If you're having transmission issues, it could be the throw out bearing going bad. They'll sometimes make a rattle if worn out enough, but will definitely cause a vibration up the transmission. Which you should be able to feel through the shifter!

No I don't feel anything through the shift till I shift into 3rd or 4th which I know if the Synchronisers. Sounds like it's down by the trans.
