Classic/Preformance Mustang Build

I plan on building my 03 GT to look and sound like a classic car. I plan on getting and old style short shifter etc. I want to make the exhaust have that classic muscle car sound but still keeping performance in mind. I don't know how to go about this, so any advice or suggestions on brands and parts would be greatly appreciated

Thoes are nice parts no doubt, but many involve a rebuild, and are meant for professional dragging. I plan on keeping my car on a much smaller scale. Such as if there is a significant difference between a o/r h pipe or a pro chamber for performance and sound

Closest you're gonna get to the sound of a classic is an O/R H and a pair of chambered Flowmasters. These 2v motors don't really sound anything like a push rod does. Performance wise there isn't really any substantial difference in power between the various mid-pipes and mufflers.

Everyone talks about flow masters but what about magnaflow? How does their catback of glass packs compare?

It sounds really good but it doesn't sound anything like a classic will. Personally I'm running Magnaflows chambered catback on my car and I like it
