In Park 2000 GT idles at around 800 but in Drive it will idle at 700 then every so often I drops down below 500 sounds like it might die. Any suggestions

Try cleaning the maf sensor and idle control valve, vaccum lines, plugs...Mine did opposite and idled at 1800. I ended up having to replace the icv 3 times this month so you can start by cleaning them.

Easy thing to check is your spark plugs. Mine idled kind of like that except a little worse and it ended up my spark plugs were toast.
