Alright fellas I have an 03 gt. The ac compressor went out and locked the pulley so I went out and got an 80 3/8" inch belt to bypass it. Fits perfectly to what I can tell tension wise but checked out some squeaking today and it's already torn. The belt's about 2 weeks old whichever brand Oreily's carries. The groove closest to the alternator is the one tearing.
Could it be another bad pulley? Too tight of a belt or is it just repping too quickly? Bad alignment? Not too sure but either way until I get the compressor I'd rather not have to by a 20-30$ belt every week and a half.
