04"GT tb ?

I have completely stock 04" GT.
Got a question about the aftermarket throttle bodies. Will a 75mm work if I added exhaust ,CAI & tune? Thanks.

I have a 78 mm t/b from BBK and it works just fine and sounds awesome.

It's pointless if you don't upgrade the plenum with it.

I heard but I could be wrong 75tb is too big for bolts on unless u going with supercharger later on if not then go with
70m and it will work better then 75

Hey,

Great question, because there are different answers as far as the throttle bodies go.

The simple answer is that a 75 or 78mm throttle body will work and function properly even on a bone stock car. However, some people claim that the car gets bogged down at initial throttle with the 75mm throttle body and larger. This is generally because they are bringing in more air than a stock or bolt-on car can handle, and the vacuum is temporarily disrupted.

If you have a bolt-on car and don't have plans to run any forced induction or major engine internals, performance wise, the 70mm intake will generally yield the best results.

I hope this clears some things up, and if you have any other questions, feel free to get back in touch. Best of luck!

-Dan

Thanks everyone for the replays. I will be shopping next week for the bolt on's and have the exhaust installed pretty soon. Maybe think about some 3.73's to
The mix

If you are looking at a TB/Plenum just get the Trick Flow TB/Plenum combo for $279 on Summit racing. Easily the best bang for the buck setup and super high quality. Not a chinese knock off like some stuff that is $20-$50 cheaper.
