Window fitment issue

My 98 GT convertible seems to have an issue with the fitment on the passenger side window. The window seems to have a lot of "wiggle" back and forth, and it has a pretty large gap between the window seam and the window itself.

You can see how towards the end of the door, a gap between the window and door gradually appears.

Anyone know where to start on diagnosing/repairing this?

I pulled the door panel off and it seems like there is quite a bit of back and forth play in the track. Is it possible that the track has loosened?

I figure fifteen years of closing an openin the door by the window took it's toll on the window track. The window itself is mounted fine to the track

I personally don't, but the previous owners were not very nice to my car.
