Tinted headlights don't blind people. Bad HIDs will. I don't take lightly to people literally not making it able for me to see the road at night.

Covers dude. They come off at night.... Voila. And the law says one thing. This is one of those cases where you don't do what the law says, you do what is right. Do you really enjoy sending light into everyone's eyes at night on the road? How does that sound like a remotely smart idea? Don't be "that guy"

We are discussing lights. That is irrelevant.

But ok do whatever you want. If you drive by me I will flash my high beans at you, then you will actually realize what it's like.

Bye. Have fun giving mustangs a bad name. 👍 hope you don't drive over 65 on the highway, cause that would be breaking the law.

I hate on stuff that is a hazard to others. If you feel that my exhaust is a physical hazard to you; then ok, if you feel that my tinted headlights during the day are a hazard to you; then ok.

Yea I may come off a bit hard on this, but all my night driving is on dark back roads with lots of hills and corners. There have been times someone in the other lane blinded me so bad I could not see the road at all. And when it's a dark road through an uphill corner, you want to be able to see the road.

Legality is one thing. Morality really is a completely different subject.

Also, exhaust pollution accounts for very little of global warming, the biggest portion is from cows in the CAFOs so if you eat fast food you contribute more to it than I do.

IF you get HIDs, get as close to white as possible. Anything else doesn't do anything.

"Global warming"...

How about the big plant buildings dumping black smoke into the sky..

But reading this thread actually gave me a laugh. I turn my brights on if a car blinds me, so I can see better. This whole thread is being way over dramatic from comparing laws to abortion to wanting to beat someone's face in for having the wrong type of lights. Lol

I will say I used to want those HIDs also, then I figured I would do it right the first time. And then I started driving a lot at night and realized I would have hated them.

Exactly. At the end of the day people should just do it the right way, the first time.

Yep, at the very least do what I did and put a quality (IE not DDM or VVME or Kensun) 4300-5000k HID kit in a set of projectors that actually keep the light in a cutoff pattern you can aim. Mine "rainbows" at the ends which is not correct but I have a clean cutoff that I can aim 2" below my headlight height at 25ft on a level surface and it does not scatter at all. This is what you CANNOT do with HIDs in a reflector housing. I have to drive by multiple ******bags with HIDs in factory housings it seems like every morning. Doesn't help that I've had laser surgery and am more sensitive to light than some ppl. Thanks alot to everyone running HIDs in reflector housings so you can look like the ricers do. Just FYI a good halogen will allow you to see BETTER than a crappy Chinese HID kit in the stock housings.
