Exhaust sound opinions

I currently have the Mac prochamber h pipe that deletes only 1 set of my cats. How much louder would it be if I got the full sized off road h pipe that deleted both sets. Also would I see any performance difference from deleting all 4 instead of only 2? Thanks guys.

You won't see any gains at all. It will be louder, I would think by a good bit.

It won't double it. Maybe 1.5

Right now it's straight pipes, would the extra sound be worth the $250?

Well.. It's like this.. Cats kill your sound by muffling it to hell. Les cats = louder, so you can make the judgment from there.

to hell with those cats.. take em off, get a set off mil eliminators and/or a tune to get rid of the service engine light and enjoy a loud exhaust system.. dont let those cats stop you from being great

I wouldn't take them all off personally. throw an off-road x on it for the sound.

Does the h pipe sound good alone or does it have to have flowmasters?

I have ford racing short tube headers, bbk h pipe, and flowmaster 40's. In my opinion it's too loud, but its strictly for performance. My tune deleted my cats.

Get an h pipe if you like flowmasters. Get an x pipe if you like different mufflers.
