What mod next?

I'm some what new to the mustangs since I used to drive a lifted Xterra. Right now im not sure what mod I should do next. I've already lowered it 2 inchs, put caster camber plates on/camber bolts, added an Xpipe. The car came with a bbk cold air which I replaced the filter because that thing had like tar on it or some thing.

Not sure what to do next. Been looking at steeda's pullies, or a 75mm throttle body/ larger plenum. I've been thinking of gears more and more lately not sure if I wanna bite that bullet yet. Even thought of the MGW short through shifter just to get rid of that horrible travel on the stock one.

To see a lot more power and acceleration, I'd go with a custom tune, 3.73 gears, and an upgraded intake plenum and throttle body. The car will feel completely different, especially from the drivers seat.

Also, if you purchase a tuner from AM, you'll be automatically enrolled into Bama Free Tunes for Life program. Which means you'll receive tunes for your current mods, but also tune updates for any future bolt-on mods you may add on. The tuner will also correct for the speedometer if you change the rear gear ratio.

If you need further assistance picking out the right parts for your budget, you can always feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to assist you anyway possible!

Starting to sound like the tune would be better to start with now and then later on start adding stuff. And how many times can you upgrade the tune with Bama?

Unlimited with that car. The tune is a great mod because it not only has a large gain from it, but it ties all of your mods together also. It's great!

As much as you want for the car you originally purchased the tuner for. The Bama Team can tune for all bolt-on mods and even up to a 100shot of nitrous! Anytime you need to request for a tune update, you'll fill out this tuning request form on our site and the Bama Team will write the files and email them to you directly. You'll then upload the files to your tuner and then to your Mustang.

You'll be glad you went with a custom tune first!

Go with 4.10 gears or 4.30 or forget wasting the money. Tube is a great start not so sure it going be huge gain with no mods.

I would do the gears. If you go to American muscle. You can find the whole set of gears (4:10, 3:93....) for around 300. And of course you can change the axle spline if you choose and then you would have to change the differential. Then that's where you are looking at $1,000+ if you do it your self

Not sure if I wanna change out gears right now depending on where I get stationed soon and my living situation is. The tune is starting to sound more beneficial just to tie up every thing I have on the car now.

That is exactly why a tune should be the first mod. If you don't tell your engine it can suck in more air (for example) a larger CAI or throttle body would be almost useless. It utilizes what Ford left on the table (so stock motors will still feel way different) and gets all the power out of aftermarket mods.
