I have borla stingers and absolutely love them, the slp loudmouths were loud but didn't really have a time at all, I wasn't too fond of them. But I also have an O/R pipe

They don't necessarily drone, then again you have the 4.6 witch belive it or not makes a diffrent sound, my neighbor had a 2004 gt with a bassani off road x, and magnapacks and it sounded amazeing, but my car with the 5.0 and bbk or/x and slp loudmouts sounded horrible. I have streight through dynomax ultra flows I just put on to replace my super 40's and honestly couldent be happier. No drone with the ultra flows by dynomax.

No mines a 94 gt still got the 5.0 pushrod motor. Right now i have stock headers and catted h pipe with flowmaster 40s and its not loud enough. Pretty soon im ordering a upr offroad x and im deciding if i want to run glasspacks or maybe slp loudmouths. I heard flowmasters dont sound good and drone with x pipes but thats coming from 4.6 owners.

Flowmasters drone with the 5.0 pushrod as well. In my experience, a good straight through muffler does not drone much if at all. A SLP Loudmouth is more of a resonator than a muffler. I would not run a glasspack unless you have a half rusted out, lifted with hockey pucks 1979 pickup truck with a gun rack and a confederate flag.

My recommendation for a no drone, great sounding muffler is a Dynomax Ultra Flow or a Magnaflow. Both have the benefit of being fully stainless, are mild at idle and off idle (but you know they are there) and will absolutely SCREAM at WOT, especially the Ultras.

I agree. The magnaflow is a good choice, because while I love the WOT roar, when I come home from work at midnight, I don't want every neighbor to know I'm driving by

I have pypes pype bombs (which are resonators as well) and an off road h on my 95 gt. They are throaty but relatively quiet at idle and scream at wot, im super happy with that setup

I hear that, the mufflers I have were from a PO. Not my first choice but not too bad either. They've grown on me but I do eventually want to swap out.
