Not sure. If it's the true X then it shouldn't. But if it's chambered then it will sound different.

Probably would sound different being that it's Long Tubes? If not then it should sound about the same. Keep looking on Youtube videos and compare.

I'm looking to also get long tubes.. People say that's it's better to get long tubes for power gains right?

stock exhaust manifolds are not restrictive but long tubes will give u a few more horsepower.. and a more aggressive sound

dont think so, if im not mistaken.. the upr x pipe will only bolt to stock manifolds.. someone said they should bolt to shorty headers but im not sure.. and shorty headers arent really worth the install time in my opinion

UPR won't fit. as long it's true x pipe it will most likely sound the same.

That's not a true x, buy a bbk x pipe. Also just my opinion but I would never but flowmasters again. Just switched to dynomax ultra flows and it was the best comfort mod I ever did. They highway drone that flowmasters or any chamberd muffler create, give you the worst headache on road trips and rattle your interior apart. But straight through mufflers like borla xs pros or dynomax ultra flows have no drone and sound 100x meaner at wot. Also flowmasters rust, when I changed mine this weekend there was a ton of structural damage rust on top of the muffler and when I hit it with a hammer the hole back of the muffler dented it. Here's a video of my new exhaust.

Not saying there terrible, I loved the way they sounded beating around town. But if you do any highway driving, especially with 3.73's from 1,900 rpm to 2,300 rpm they drone horribly it's like haveing a subwoofer in your trunk on a constant 30 decibels.

My current GT I picked up few days ago has Catted X pipe with 40s on em and its quiet with 3.73s. Unless of course I stomp on it but I usually just cruise 75.

Yes with cats it might be acceptable, but I have a off road x and it was to much.

Yeah, I want to take the cats off and have O/R again but I'm liking the sound so I'm keeping it for now.

Good idea, you also won't have to deal with pesky emissions either lol.

Magnapacks sound great with an o/r x. I have them paired with the bbk o/r x and they sound great. Pretty loud but a tolerable loud if that makes any sense. Low drone too and I have 410s. I'm not the hugest fan of the bbk x but I got a great deal on it and couldn't pass it up.

Had those in the past to. With cats there amazing, with an off road x they sound mean at idle but soon as you hit the gas they sound like a card in a bicycle wheel or like a exhaust mainifold leak. I think it's because there is so little packing metarial in them.

I actually would have went with the upr or the Mac x pipe. I do have stock manifolds so I didn't have any worries there about fitment. The upr seems to be a great value from anyone I have talked to that has had one or heard one. I wouldn't worry too much about the flowmasters rusting if you don't drive in the winter etc they will last a long time either way if That's what you like. The magnapacks were pretty cheap on Amazon roughly about 180 for both if I remember correctly. Some say with an x go with a straight thru muffler and go chambered with a h pipe for whatever That's worth. It's all about what you like of course. I work with a guy who has a summit o/r h pipe and flowmaster 44s and it sounds great, very reasonably priced too.

What I want to get from this is power that's why I chose the x pipe way.. I also don't wanna be TOO loud cause that will just be a problem with the neighbors and cops.. I want it to sound mean ... So you guys think I'm better off going with a bbk o/r x right?

honestly bro, dont know what state you're in but here in georgia cops never pulled me over for being "too loud".. actually i never knew anyone who got pulled over for that reason.. but what i did notice is that when your exhaust is hella loud u get a lot more attention.. example, when i first got my 05 maxima i rode around with a "tag applied for" tag for like 5 days.. i passed by cops and they never pulled me over.. when i first got my mustang 2 months ago i had that same kind of tag on it and i got pulled over 4 times.. so dont worry too much about being pulled over for a loud exhaust ticket.. just make sure your car is legit (valid insurance, no lights out, etc.) and make sure you're not actually breaking the law because you'll be a lot more noticeable with the exhaust.. but go with the bbk or upr.. really cant go wrong with neither if the prices are good buddy 👍

I have never worried too much or been bothered by the police for noise pollution. I'm in Michigan so there are plenty loud cars in the suburbs of Detroit lol. I would go with the upr o/r x if you don't want to go with longtubes cause I believe you said it wasn't available for that application. The bbk is fine and is what I have and I like it. It's not enough dislike for me to buy another one and change it lol. They sound good. And have both longtube and stock applications. As far as power gain it will be minimal with any set up but a good base to go along with supporting mods in the future. I didn't notice any gains but the satisfaction of a great sounding mustang is worth much more than a couple hp, lol!!
