Major timing issue

Okay I know I royally jacked up so before you go on about how stupid I am or think this guy must have eaten too many paint chips, trust me I know. So after rebuilding the motor I was putting the heads back on and I marked the cams and chain but they wiped off somehow and now I'm stuck. I tried turning it over by hand and it would only turn about a 1/4th. So now I'm sitting here kicking myself and cussing up a storm. Any advice on how to get it back to factory timing would very appreciated.

There should already be marks on the cam gears, try looking for them and see how far off they are

There wasn't any. I looked them over for a good 30 minutes. But I have gotten it back in time. No PTV and our rotates very smoothly
