Clutch fork/pivot stud Help please!

Just got done dropping my engine and tranny back in the car only to Notice the clutch dork is falling off of the pivot stud, I push it back up and it pops on but then 1-2 times of sliding the fork it falls back out of place! I've read other threads about this but everyone suggest new fork and pivot stud and bam there problem is fixed. But here's my problem, my clutch fork and pivot stud are BRAND NEW!! Have not even been used yet. So what could be the issue?? I haven't hooked up my cable yet, will the cable keep it in place ? Or the dust shield? Am I gonna have to drop my tranny again ?

If you can't get it to stay... yeah tranny has to come back out. One of the prongs might be pushed up and its only catching one or something got bent up or who knows what. It should definitely stay in place on its own.

Just because I give you advice, doesn't mean I know more than you. Its just means I've done more stupid ****.

Okay that's what I wasn't hoping for. Will get on it tomorrow.

I had uploaded that picture to ask what hose goes there but I figured it out. Won't let me delete the picture though only edit text.
