Sticking Gauges

So last night I installed the white face gauges on my 2001 mustang gt. I pulled the needles off to make it easier to put the white face on but I never touched the needle that goes down into the motor trying to keep from messing anything up. But I still managed to mess it up hah. My gauges are sticky and full gauge says it's over half full wen I'm really below a half a tank speedo won't fall below 3000 and rpm won't fall below 3500 oil temp and all those are stuck on high. What did I do and how do I fix it? Click image for larger version

You pull the needles back off and put them back on without pushing down all the way. Need to leave a gap. When I did my white faces I pulled the old black faces off, no point in leaving them and it helps with issues like this.

All the white faces are, but so are the stock black gauges. You can rip off the black ones and put the white ones right over provided they are actual white face replacements like the MACs.

But if not just reset the needles so they aren't so close to the gauges and make sure the actual holes they go in aren't being constricted by the new pieces.

Yeah they should have guide holes that line up on the plastic and go right in. My $30 MAC gauges did and they look OEM. Ppl think I swapped in a Cobra cluster which is why (IMO) swapping in a real Cobra cluster is idiotic.

These are what I have in my car looks almost identical to cobras. The best part is they come in 3 pieces so you don't have to remove the needles. Once you remove the needles it is almost impossible to put them back in the right position. To me awhile to find these but well worth it
