Alternator Help

Cars been running weir lately, check engine light just came on the other day. It sounds different and almost seems faster/more responsive.

From what I read it could be the camshaft position sensor or the alternator. Anyone know of a good place to get an alternator that's high enough amps and not $350?

Just saw their SR alternator with 150 amps for $240 which doesn't seem bad compared to everything else.

You or anyone heard anything about SR alternators? What's stock amperage for an 02 gt? Is it 130?

SR is a chinese alternator but then... so are all the other reman'd ones you can buy at the box stores. I'd get it and run it and it will likely be fine. A 3G alternator is 130... you know I never actually bothered to find out if this changes at any point in the 96-04 run.

Alternator is STUPID easy to change as well on these cars. On some cars you have to pull the motor or drop the trans.... yeesh...
