Nitrous bottle mounting

I was wondering if I could mount the nitrous bottle on the wall of my trunk horizontally since I have no other room. I know I would have to move it in the brackets so the siphon tube would be facing the back, but I'm still not sure if mounting it horizontally on the wall will mess up the flow of nitrous. Any input will be helpful. Thank you

I think that the only trouble you may run into is finding a suitable mounting location on the "wall" of the trunk which is made of cardboard.

it needs to be mounted at a angle with the top higher than the bottom. Most brackets are at a 20° angle

I was thinking about getting a piece of wood and covering it in carpet to match the trunk and up by where the seats fold down there is a strip of metal that I can bolt the wood on to and then I would bolt the bottle onto the wood. I would put it in the middle of the trunk except the person who owned the car before me custom made the Mat with the carpet and is impossible to mount it there.

Yes the bottle brackets are at a slight angle so I think that it will be okay to mount on the wall. I have seen a few others do it that way on other forums. Thanks for the help!!

Make sure the feed line in on the backside then. Don't expect to get a full bottle out of mounting ot this way either. Drag gars mount them vertically where there passenger seat goes. But they also swap bottles out every run.
