ford mustang marmonic balancer

ford mustang harmonic balancer seems to be wabble a bit and makes some noises. I am sure its fine but I think its time to replace.
I tried to find a thread on it, can someone post a link if there is one or give me some advice on changing it. Never had to deal with one and just looking for help.

I couldn't afford one of those fancy marmonic balancers so I had to use a regular ol' Harmonic Balancer.
They do actually wear out. The rubber ring starts to deteriorate and they begin to do exactly what you're experiencing.
They're pressed on so you need to remove that big bolt in the middle and then use a harmonic balancer puller to remove it.
To press the new one back on, you just use the big bolt and tighten it up.

is it a part that I could just go to autozone or napa and buy or is it going to help performance at all if I buy a big name one

Unless you want to do underdrive pulleys, I think that I'd just go with a good quality replacement part.
