Exhaust setup

Hi, I'm thinking about changing my exhaust. Just from the mid pipe and back. Right now m running stock mid pipe with slp ( sounds awesome) but wants more louder lol I can't go with off road x/h pipe cuz I live in emission state (California) so question was if I change my mid pipe to 3in all the way back would that makes loud? Or any other setup? Thx

Buy an OR pipe. Swap in your stock pipe on emissions days. Done.

Only issue is the mother ****ing bottom bolt on the right side. Even with a car with 0 rust, you get a universal in there and it moves a little and you have a bent bolt with no rust lol. That's how mine is, I need to go get some grade 8 bolts that don't go to china for it.

Depends. Some can give you a fix it ticket.. But they can also fine you 10k

Just depends if your cop is nice or an *******. And I don't like those odds lol.

I heard they tow ur car cuz it's not passing smog and it shouldn't be on the streets period, but I could be wrong and I probably go with 3in exhaust from mid-pipe to back.

It really does depend on the cop. I never got looked at for my OR pipe in 7 years in NJ with my Cobra but my buddy got hit with a fix it ticket in Wisconsin the same day he put his on. An all around perfect solution is an OR pipe with dummy cats welded in which you can buy at a variety of places. With the MIL eliminators plugged in you'll throw no DTCs and pass any visual. You will still likely fail a sniffer if your state does the sniffer but they don't do it here in NJ for OBDII vehicles.
