What is every ones mpg?

So I just went on a long trip over the weekend and and tried my luck at getting some higher mpg to see how high up there I could get.

I know these cars arent to great on gas but I was still able to pull off 24 mpg. Just wondering if any one has been able to get about the same or even better.

I got 26 mpg once. That was the average on a all freeway 1000 mile trip. I actually got 27 mpg on one of the tanks.

There's apps that can keep track of that. I use aCar on Android and it keeps track of mpg plus reminds you when a service is needed. So far I get around 18-20 but I do a mix of highway (stop & go) and city driving so im pumping gas frequently

About 15 gallons.

Lol
That isn't a very accurate way to figure your fuel mileage though TC...
Unless, of course, you are running your car out of gas and pushing it down to the station to fill it up every time.

Lol
Doesn't your car figure out the miles per gallon automatically?
In real time?
At the push of a button?

The tank is 15.6 gallons. This is how you calculate it...

1. Fill the tank (don't add more after the click)
2. Before driving write down your miles.
3. Drive it for however long you want.
4. Fill the tank again. (Don't add after the click)
5. Write down miles again.
6. Take however many miles you drove and divide it by the number of gallons you put in.

There you go. Don't eye ball it by guessing that it looks like you have a quarter tank left and you drove X miles. That is not accurate at all.

Oh and about my 13-14 city and 16-17 highway. Considering that I am getting a custom plate in the mail soon saying "IH8MPG" you can probably guess that mpg is my last concern lol.

I'm getting 25-25.5 on the highway, 21-21.5 in mixed driving back and forth to work. I was actually impressed. And, happy, since I bought this as my daily driver to save on gas. My other ride gets 17, whether highway or city lol.

I get 20-23 MPG combined highway and suburban city. Rarely drops below 20 MPG. I have 2003 GT auto with a jMod and a Bama tune using the 91 octane tune.

I tend to be a conservative driver though.

I almost always get 20mpg and I beat on mine. I would love to see what she'd do on a long highway trip with the .62 overdrive and taller than stock rear tires though. I do 75mph at 2200 rpm with 3.73s.

Online tech support type job.

Like said, the car doesn't get driven a whole lot since I live on my college campus. So my only expenses really are the car and my student loans. So it's not a huge matter of making a lot, but more not having a ton of expenses at the moment.

I make a good living and bought my 2004 gt with 58,000 miles 2 years ago with the sole purpose of modding it $3,000 later and a vortech sc in closet well ya know it happens... Of course though I sold my 11 sec Camaro and stock formula trying to get out of the car game... So much for that ha

I'll be parking in a much better part of campus this year, one that is directly next to my building also. So I'm hoping it goes away completely.

I get around 20 with 410s on the freeway and about 15 in the city. Gets driven about 50 miles a week though right now so It's not a huge sample size after he getting the 410s
