This is a great build thread that I think most of you would enjoy looking threw and reading about. Fully Built N/A Autocross race car with e85 conversion

Their website must be down.

I still can't get the link to work but I found the car on another forum...

Yeah that looks like a nice setup! I like the Nascar styled rear suspension.
And I'm jealous... He has 315's on the front.
Very nice car!

I'm glad that it's not ESP legal!

This link works perfectly.

Those rims would look awesome on your car JDF! And he's running about the same camber that you are... -4 or 5 degrees.

Started off as a dual purpose performance car. Have the ability to drive it on the street all while tear up the race track whenever . Now it has turned into an all out autocross racecar! 350rwhp N/A and have an unbeatable suspension setup.
The thread shows him go threw various suspension parts, breaks, tires, fully built teksid everything that you could think to do to your car he probably has.
Anyways its a good read for anyone interested in modding there mustang.

Yes!
Thanks for posting that TC.
I can't get that radical with the car that I'm building but, from skimming through that thread, I can see that the owner of that car and I have many of the same ideas for a well balanced track car.
When I get the time I'll read the entire thread.

I know we can bolt in sub frame connectors like the convertibles
but is it actually beneficial to have the bolt in ones AND the full length welded in ones for as he says " maximum rigidity " or would it just be a waste of money?

In the autocross class that I run in, we're only allowed bolt-on connectors, which my car came with.
The welded sub-frame connectors are far superior to the bolt-ons.

That guy sure did take a lot of pictures!
And that's a holy crap lot of parts that he tossed on that car!

This is going to be an awesome read!

He's running more camber than me, those wheels are high on my list of wheels that I want, but I want the Varrstoen version instead of XXRs

How do you get that whole time lapse and circuit? I like taking GoPro video at AutoXs.

That's a badass car. The owner is Brett Madsen. Lives in SoCal. That's what I'm modeling mine after.

I've watched that autocross vid several times and I can't tell if he started in second gear or if he shifted into second in the middle of the first turn. Haha. His car definitely has shorter gears than mine!

You should see how short my gears are with these 4.10s. Last AutoX I had to shift into 3rd in a few corners
