That option was really for a single occupant (driver) and in case of accident the d/s airbag only would deploy. Secondly the weight requirement in most cars, the passenger front seat has a weight sensor that tells the computer if there is a minor in the front seat or a person under 90 lbs, if the person is under 90lbs, the airbag will remain deactivated, but once a person over 90lbs sits in the seat, the airbag is active.
I still don't trust them and as I have said, they are completely useless if you are buckled. Maybe side curtain airbags aren't but there comes a point where you have to be ok with driving a 3000-4000lb hunk of metal hurtling down a road along with a bunch of others doing the same thing. Most of which have little or no training and many of which probably should not be allowed to drive due to medical reasons or they are just ****ing retards.

When you put it like that honestly, driving is scary... if anything else caused as much damage or killed as many ppl as driving, it would have been banned long ago lol.

2000 Mustang GT Steeda build #48. Bolt ons, suspension, Novi 2000.

Just because I give you advice, doesn't mean I know more than you. Its just means I've done more stupid ****.
