who uses Power Stop Rotors and pads

Okay, after a long day of idiots at parts stores I decided to just order online. I think I am going to go with the POWER STOP Part # K1302 Incl. 11.06" Front & 10.51" Rear Silver Zinc Plated Cross-Drilled & Slotted Rotors w/Z16 Ceramic Scorched Pads.

This package deal is actually cheaper then piecing together any half decent rotors and pads and will be changed out in a year or so when I get cobra calipers eventually.

anyone currently running this set up on there mustang? If so anything I should be aware of or are they going to be a quality part?

I got the stock ones still but I hear they are pretty cool, if I need to replace my breaks I been thinking of getting their package from AM because it seems like a good deal and the reviews look decent - hopefully someone will chime in who has actually used them.

Cheaper on Rock Auto then AM
Was going to get the raybesto's but figure for cheaper I can have the drilled and slotted powerstop rotors so why not.

I ran them in my previous stang. They in my opinion are not worth the money. The rotors cracked on me in about 90 days and they sent me a new set, within another 60 days they cracked again. I never bought them again. And if I were you, I would stay away from drilled and slotted rotors, slotted alone are fine, but combined slotted and drilled they always tend to crack on you.

Parts store here claims to have raybesto's that are re branded as there own store's rotors/pads. Is this something that happens often? any way to verify what actual part I am getting? They don't have the part numbers of the originals as they just sell them as there stores premium rotor.

The prblem with slotted/drilled rotors is too much material is taken away from the rotor surface. And creates more heat with less material which creates stress cracks. I threw them away and never looked back. Now slotted rotors are my preference if I need to upgrade rotors, but since I usually stay close to stock setup minus some bolt-ons, I tend to stay with stock setups, never been let down with FOMOCO parts.
