Nah just gotta live with a little mexipoke. Just out of curiosity I had tried sticking my 17X10.5s up front with the 315s, but I ended up hitting my caliper with the barrel of the wheel before I even got close to threading the lug nuts.

I wonder if I parted my blower/intercooler/blown motor and good motor if that would get me a $2500 F150 Coyote and a swap kit... hmmmm

edit: Wait a minute... busts out calculator...

It broke taking off he last lug nut on my wheel. Luckily it was just 1 wheel. I was able to find one on amazon for cheap and it will be here Wednesday. But nowhere has just the key, only kits with the nuts.

That's why I just use the regular acorns on mine and don't park in ghetto *** places....

I'd have locks on mine too if I parked in a college dorm.

Why would you need a daily? Just build a new motor on the side. It's not a top fuel car

"on the side" would mean i need space. Living in a tiny apartment with just a car port the length of my car doesn't give me many options......

Oh and the suspension/seats/harness are a pain in the *** to use every day lol

Basically right now:

IAC might be going out
TOB whines like a mother....
Tranny needs a rebuild
Engine burns a bit of oil

I just don't want to do temporary fixes for the next few years. I'd rather just do it right.

And i do have space in my room to build the engine. But i'm also on a 2nd floor apartment so getting it to the first floor would be a challenge in itself lmao. Then the car port is literally the size of my car, and right behind it is an incline, so i can't just back it up lol.

I keep hearing excuses lol.

Get a few people to help carry that block up the stairs.

Or rent a forklift and set it on a balcony. Then bring it in your room. There is always a way remember that.

When I was in the marines, a guy was building a 454 Chevy motor in his closet. Had a folding cherry picker in his room mates closet and those two put an entire engine together and put it in his chevelle in about 2 months.

Lol.
The fork lift would be a bit much.

Not necessary though! You could move the assembled engine on a hand truck down the stairs. With a couple of guys helping.

Most apartment buildings don't allow you to work on your car on the property. So the engine install would need to be done in the middle of the night.

Any elevator in the building? If not... Big hand truck and a couple of friends and be careful as hell and its probably doable.

The apartment we are in now has those rules even though I have a garage. But management leaves me alone.
I usually have to shut my garage as everyone always wants to come stand around and ask 1,000 questions.

An aluminum block would also help... 😉. I bet a couple guys could carry that. Just leave off the accessories... You can do it
