02 gt clutch

So i replaced my clutch and soon after the cable broke! I had it replace problem is the car wont go in gear unless the clutch is pushed pretty much to the firewall! Im thinking adjusting the clutch cable any other ideas! Im trying the get the car sold and this is the only hold up!!!!

Try pulling up on the clutch pedal and see if that helps any that's what it hopefully is

Pulled up on it and it goes straight in gear s few times then stops so i end up pulling it back up again lol made a short drive through town very long

Could be that the stock quadrant is just written out, it's made of plastic and the teeth on it can just wear out so that it won't remain adjusted properly.

Might be time to just upgrade to an aftermarket adjuster

+1, but since you are only trying to sell this car, go to ford and buy a new OEM. No need to spend more to just sale, it is not going to improve the sale price.
