Longtube Install

Well might be doing header gaskets on my uncles 2001 cobra , he has long tubes.
Anyone ever do this ?
Easiest way out?

I was thinking of supporting engine , and dropping K member.

Make sure as a helpful reminder to soak the bolts in (PB) power blaster or the like of a penetrating catalyst so to not snap one off then you are in for a hell of a job. When I did mine, I soaked each bolt and allowed it to sit over night. Then went in and removed them without much problem.

Drop k member and lower the engine as far as you can so you can get to them. I recently had my motor completely out for a rebuild and still had a hard time putting my headera back on cause some of the bolts are hard to get to behind the tubes

He has long tubes, those aren't needed.

Definitely drop the K, the time it would take to try to maneuver them out without doing it would probably be just as long or longer as dropping the K. Hell, now would be a good time to do a tubular K if there isn't one in there already.
