2000 GT

hey first post here . just bought a 2000 gt with 98k miles its got a bbk ceramic headers O/R x pipe (no cats) and 40 series flow masters, bbk cai,Hurst short throw shifter, stage 2 center force clutch, 3.73s, ported and polished heads and a PCM 93 oct. tune. just in wondering what hp range i am in. new to the 99-04 stangs



old cars: 93 lx with a 351w , 95 gt auto

Stock in those years they ran 260hp. So That's your baseline number. The big factor would be what was exactly done to your heads? I know port and polishing can vary depending on how well the work was done etc. A PP done well with the other mods Maybe an estimate of around 300ish with a good tune. Just estimate as I'm sure others will have their own opinions. The only way would be to get it on a dyno and find out for certain and get it professionally tuned at the same time obviously.

With a cam upgrade (i.e., 270s) and a little port should be in the 300 ish +/- 10-15hp to the wheels.

And I agree totally in getting it to a dyno as that is the only way of getting accurate readings and also gettting it finely tuned to its full capability.

Anything else we say here is guessing.
