HIDs in Projectors

So I want to install some HIDs on my 00 mustang, i recently bought the raziom halo projectors and everybody knows the lowbeams on them are crappy. I was planning to get some HIDs from ddm tuning but i dont know what specifications I should get sine Im assuming they have em listed for stock housings. Can anybody help me and also walkthrough the install?

DDM is garbage chinese 0 quality control crap. Get a higher quality kit if you want bulbs that are laser aligned and made with quartz glass and are actually the right kelvin rating. You can get a XenonDepot "Volt" kit which is a Canadian company with really good customer support and its one of the best "budget" kits out there. Yeah it is $85 shipped on sale with a discount code (search google, I got one off a lexus forum) but its very high quality. Good luck getting any sort of support or anything from DDM if you have an issue.

edit: Also do yourself a favor and do not get anything over 5k. That is when the lumen output really starts to drop off and after 6K you are dimmer than a halogen. OEM is 4300k with some of the Philips bulbs color shifting to 4700k after a burn in period. I run the 4300k Volt kit I mentioned and they are omfg bright but do not scatter and have a clean cutoff with my DEPO projectors. DEPO does not make a kit for the 99-04 cars tho.

Thanks Scotty, i had the 8K on my stock housing and tried to get projectors asap, but I realized that you cant used the same kit on them. i really liked the color I had and wanted the same ones; or I at least need to know how to calibrate the stock bulbs in the raxiom projectors better cause I cant see nothing past like 5 feet ahead of me.

If you like the color in 8K, that's a personal preference. FACT is that 8K HIDs are dimmer than a top end halogen. The higher the kelvin rating, the dimmer the bulb is. This is why OEM is almost always in the 4k range.

You mean aim them? There are how to vids on both AM and LRS. The new edge is easy, as long as the Raxioms have the same provisions as the stockers do for adjustment.
