I DO!!!
I'm building a 11-1 Teksid engine for my autocross car. I would never be able to put supercharged power to the ground on most of the tracks.
I keep thinking that the horsepower gain isn't worth the cost but the engine is apart so what the hell.
Most of the large components are Craigslist finds so it will probably end up costing about half of what I would spend buying all new parts.
I'm more familiar with pushrod engines so I'm in "sticker shock" over the cost to build one of these engines correctly... Particularly, the timing and valve train components.

Lol.
I recommend starting with some autocross first Rap... Or you WILL, likely, wreck your car.

I'm planning on doing the entire SCCA/TireRack Solo Championship tour in 2016. One of the events is at College Station, Texas A&M Annex... I expect to see you there. I'll bring some street tires and afterwards we can do some rolls (I'm NOT particular where!) and you can show me what the rear of your car looks like!
