Isn't the A/C condenser in front of the radiator?

I painted mine a few yrs ago in my Bronco. Also had the external trans cooler in front also. I painted the rad black and the trans cooler red. The painting is a good appearance touch, but just remember to paint it is light coats so to not over spray the cooling fins and clog them up to prevent air flow. I also put a laydown of Ford lettering to paint over so that the ford showed up throught the grille, The middle section I painted Blue and the over lay in black. Turned out nice. But it is better if you throughly clean the rad of any corrosion and oil residue. Also, for better adhesion, prime coat it first.

Yeah that's what I was wondering about, If spraying it would cause any clogging and if there's anything specific I need to do

The only downside to painting the condenser is that the paint will act like an insulator of sorts so that will decrease the efficiency of the condenser by a bit. If you do it, do like Grumpy said and just apply enough paint to give it some color and that's it.

I always heard that if you paint an engine block black that it will run hotter.

I believe that they are myths and if there is a difference between colors it is so slight as to be barely perceptible.
With the exception of something that is exposed to sunlight, of course, then a flat white is best for its ability to reflect the light and maintain a cooler surface.
