Gen 1 bolts to your stock manifolds and routes around/under and back up front. Gen 2 uses forward facing headers which replace the stock manifolds. Gen2 requires a upr k member to clear. Some others may work but it was designed around the upr.

**** a Coyote swap. if you're going to go through the nightmare of making a Frankenstein car, just do it right and get an LSX or LS1. Yeah I went there. Those engines are more common than the Coyote and Im pretty sure they are indestructible actually. Hell, theres a reason they used them in the bugghatti Veyron and in every single legendary vehicle there is. The General lee? LS1 Swap--- The Titanic? LS1----- Red Barron? LSX---- Lamborghinis even have LS2s in them. Chevy Silveraydo?-- Vortec.

People. they're made out of real tornados!

Very true. I like fords. But that doesn't mean I cant share the love with Chevy. Especially their 5.3. However, I think we can all agree dodge sucks except for their real old muscle cars

You could put the chevy fuel pump in it, use the chevy ECU with the original fuel rails that belong on the engine...?

I wouldn't mind having a carbureted LS1 mustang actually. I think it would be pretty awesome. Think of having a draw-through style supercharger under a carb. THATS what I think of when I think supercharged American muscle

But then ud have to change the jets alot pending on the weather, efi automaticly adjust for weather change, not to mention high end carbs can cost $1200+ im just not interested in a carb and i deff want a boosted car so whatever motor goes in will eventually get boosted for sure

You run the Chevy ECU/harness and figure out the Ford guages and run a vac line to the hvac and that's pretty much it. You can even use the Ford computer if you have a machine shop and are really freaking good. Saw a build where a guy machined reluctor wheels, brackets, other parts etc... to make the Ford ECU's functions all work with a LS1. Just got it tuned and rolled.

Going carbed is always an option if you are ok with having to **** around with a carb and it will not be emissions legal if you live in a state that inspects.

And yes the JY 5.3 and even 4.8 builds look crazy. Featherweight L33 with a good cam and bolt ons is supposed to make 375rwhp and the internals are good for what like 800+? Been researching the hell out of those motors.

Little update on what I'm doing with my money I bought a 97 mark ran/drove fine pulled the engine got it in my garage. So I haven't bought a supercharger yet I'm gunna build this engine. Obv gunna go forged internals just don't know if I want to supercharge it or just NA with spray

That's awesome man! I think you will do just fine with NA and spray. Just a few bolt ons and you are really close to the 300 hp mark. The engine can only reliably make about 400 horsepower from what I hear. Paying the price of a supercharger kit wont make as much sense at this point. If you were going to buy a supercharger it would have made more sense to just Not get the 32 valve. You can only boost the 32V up to the same horsepower that the 16V would reach with the same supercharger.

I would say just throw a 100 shot on it at this point

Oh sweet. Yeah if you're doing internals too, then go forced induction for sure! That's the best way to get power out of a 4.6. Maybe you can get somebody to port the heads for cheap and throw in some cams?

That company makes some insane engine internals! Their weakest stuff is good up to 900 horsepower so that's pretty good lol.

If you are going to build that motor, go find yourself some C heads off a continental and a 99/01 or Mach intake. You could probably get them all for not much more than a B head Cobra intake/throttle cable.

You're still going to be spending more than a Coyote swap but w/e.
