Quick question, I'm a noob and know nothing about that, But is this all you'd need to switch to 31 spline? O_o

You need a pair of those AND a 31 spline differential.

This leads to my next question, Sorry! =P

I was looking at this :

Ford Racing 8.8 in 31 Spline Traction - LOK Mustang Limited Slip Differential w/ Carbon Discs M-4204-F318C (86-14 V8; 11-14 V6) - Free Shipping

Then I noticed... Hey, That's the one I installed on my 2013 V6!

So... um... If it's compatible with the same one, Does that mean my stock LSD will fit his 1997 GT?

I didn't realize that in the newer models, They used an LSD from the factory... As my 2007 was peg legged and I jumped the gun and upgraded with the gears lol.
