For the 100th time .. What Next ?

Got some money saved for a next mod. . Was wondering what I should aim for ..
Longtubes & X pipe

Or get a handheld tuner first ..

Or lighten up the weight with a tubular k member and rear seat delete.

Current mods :
K&N Ram air intake
PHP 3/8 Spacer
410 gears
Short throw shifter
Off road X Pipe
Cat back
Tokico HP Struts & shocks
Full length subframe connectors
Upper and lower tubular control arms
Maximum Motorsports CC plates
Springs

Performance wise your car is basically stock. Spend the money on headers, cams, and a tune

Wow I did not expect your car not to have a tune. Get a tune and tie all those mods together man.

Buy like an older X3 now and get a dyno tune. It will be money well spent.

Not really. Just have them pull up the setting on the tuner that says it is unlocked and it will show how many more it has.

Then pick a tuner of choice or go dyno tune it. You don't really have a lot done to the engine anyway so I would vote one of the more reputable data logging tuners

A good amount. I noticed a good diff on my stock car. And I didn't even have a dyno or MPT tune. Makes it feel like a new beast

It will say under setting either unlocked or unmarried and will have 5 uses left. I even bought a GM model tuner that didn't work o. Our cars but mailed it back to SCT to have the software changed to fords. Cost only 65$ to have it swapped. And was still cheaper then what they sell for new.

You'll notice a difference if you go custom Dyno tune I promise and is your best bang for your buck on a tune.

Make sure who ever sells it to you has un-married it from their Mustang. I hear they won't unlock a tuner that is married. I guess they do this to try and curb theft of the devices.

If its one or the other, id get a tune. easier to install than headers and you have to get a tune at some point if you ever want to be noticeable faster than stock. It will be noticeable if you get a 93 octane tune, especially if you already have some bolt ons.

I feel like any time your car is actually faster than stock, you gotta get a tune unless its a real muscle car from like the 60s and 70s. Back when Men were Men you know

It wouldn't even be close. Idk if it would even be considered a race.

I almost went this route but I ended up going with a Dyno tune and was so glad I did. Not only do you get things right on the money for the whole power band but you also get to see what the cars making at ever rpm and its a good show! Save up a bit more, call around, do some research about mustang tuners in your area and don't look back.
